As part of our Sukosol Cares program, we carry out a number of safety and hygiene preventative measures to minimize risk to our guests and staff when they are at The Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok. These measures are explained below.
ARRIVAL
- Temperature checkpoints for guests and hotel staff upon entry to the hotel
- All guests and staff must scan to use the Thai Government’s contact tracing system
- Disinfecting mats placed at main entrances
- Guests must complete a health and travel history questionnaire (including Lotus Spa guests)
- Luggage sanitization available at concierge desk
- Alcohol hand sanitizers are available at entrances and throughout the public areas
- Room key cards and car park cards are sanitized before every use and used cards stored separately for disinfection
SOCIAL DISTANCING & PROTECTION
- All guests and hotel staff are required to wear masks in public areas
- Social distancing etiquette applies in lifts, dining areas & public areas, with visual reminders throughout the hotel
- Maximum guest restrictions apply in lifts, fitness centre, swimming pool and other outlets
- Hotel operations teams are equipped with masks, gloves and face shields
- E-payment options available in outlets
- Online menus available in restaurants and in-room
CLEANLINESS
- Hourly cleaning with disinfectant for common touchpoints in public areas
- Liquid soap and paper towels are available in the hotel’s public washrooms
- Frequent cleaning of air conditioning filters in the hotel
- After housekeeping have cleaned and disinfected each room, it is sealed with a sticker to ensure no further entry until guest arrives
- Separate bins for used masks, wipes, etc
- Maintain strict hygiene measures and practices in food preparation handling and storage, with all teams wearing gloves, masks and face shields
- Strict linen management to minimize contact in laundry
- Fitness equipment sanitized after every use
- Hotel staff required to attend additional training for hygiene and safety
CERTIFICATION
Prior to the reopening, The Sukosol Hotel has completed comprehensive sanitization throughout the whole property, complying with the full requirements of the Thai Government’s Covid-19 prevention measures. As a result, the hotel has received safety and hygiene certification from Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health, as well as Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) certification from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
